Long time, no talk am right?! Life lately has been absolutely insane.

For the most part I have been VVV busy growing a mini human (insert all the happy tears here). We can’t wait to welcome out babygirl into the fam come early August! While we are 1000839480 times over the moon excited – nobody told me pregnancy was going to be this hard. Let me get real here for a minute: growing a baby is not all cute bump pics and baby kicks it’s more like a lot of weird pains, watching your body transform into something you don’t recognize, trying to explain what you’re feeling to your husband who tries so hard to understand but just never will (it’s kinda cute) and calling your mom 700 times a week asking if this or that is normal. So yeah, that’s why I’ve been MIA – I haven’t been feeling or looking like myself and it was a harsh reality.

But YES it is worth it – it’s worth feeling girlfriend have a dance party in my belly and watching her poke through my skin. It’s worth it watching Chris talk to her a night, it’s worth watching Stella cuddle up with her when we sleep. SO WORTH IT.

Anyway here’s the thing – I realized that I had to slowwww downnnnn – like that i physically had to slow down. So I stopped doing some things to make more time to rest and you know what? I stopped doing the things that I actually like doing and that made me feel good – like blogging and exercising. Unfortunately it took until the third trimester and a few mid-night anxiety attacks to figure out what was going on – but here we are.
